Wear Cotton Belly
Surfing, belly button piercing, safe?
I got my bellybutton pierced on Saturday and will be going surfing tomorrow(Wednesday) I will be wearing a wetsuit but what can i put on my bellybutton to protect it? Lots of cotton wool and a waterproof plaster? Is it safe?
I got my belly button pierced a month ago. I went wakeboarding at about 2 1/2 weeks afterwards. I was told not to, but I really couldnt resist lol. My advice is to get a big waterproof bandaid, the extra large kind, and cover it up. Although it says it is waterproof, it might get wet anyway. This will just protect it from getting bumped around and damaged. After you’re done surfing, soak it in a sea salt solution for 10-15 min. This will clean it. It should be fine just as long as you don’t anything too extreme to it haha. Have fun!
